Massachusetts Midwives Alliance

The Massachusetts Midwives Alliance (MMA) is a professional trade organization promoting the modern midwifery model which uses evidence-based and family centered practices to provide safe and fulfilling prenatal, birth and postpartum care to families across Massachusetts. A donation to MMA supports both our efforts to pass legislation that would create licensing for Certified Professional Midwives in Massachusetts, and also the MMA Midwifery Course scholarship fund for women of color and for financial need to help meet the growing demand for midwives who are able to serve diverse communities.
