Kevin plummer had a vision...we've all seen it.
" Build it and they will come"....so he started, on a plot of land on the A68 route from West Auckland to Darlington..
Kevin loves animals of all kind...he took in cats, pigs, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, geese, racoons, foxes, ferrets and a dog. He is the regular Noah...and this is the start of his Arc.
With the help of his volunteers, Kevin works tirelessly to give these animals a home...some of which have come to end their days in an envirement filled with love and care free from the cruelty that they have endured in a past life or their owners may have passed away themselves and there is no one else to look after. Some are their because their owners bought them as house pets such as the racoons and found out that they could not manage them. Basically, they were homeless....and Kevin opened his arms to them all.
Kevin is not without his own problems - he has recently been in a car crash and is lucky to be alive!!.he is constanly in pain...but he soldiers on - he is dedicated to his animals and life at the Sanctuary.
His latest project is the building of the dog kennels but he is slowly running out of money as he relies on volunteers and raised funds to keep the animals fed as well as create a safe environment which means building work.
On top of all this, Kevin has hit another problem...his trusty vehicle has given up the ghost and he is despirate for a new one that he can tranform into his Animal mobile Hospital.
This is where our tean of fundraisers come into it....we want to help Kevin all we can, but we need your help to do it.
We are setting up this acount for this purpose....our first target is £5000. We have the help of a gentleman who works for Stoneachers and he is on the lookout for a second hand reliable motor.
The vehicle is needed urgently. Our team is working hard to raise funds but we are relying on your kindness and generosity to give Kevin the tools to do his job.
