Asking for help to stay in my home

Donation protected
I find it very hard to ask for help. Truthfully, it’s taken days to even write down the fact that I’ve reached a point that I will lose my home if I can’t find the courage to ask friends and family and complete strangers to consider helping in what ever way that they can.
i have been blessed in my career as a singer and actor.  I’ve had the privilege of performing all over the country with The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables.
I met my wife at the beginning of my touring days and for 16 years we traveled from one city to the next, packing and unpacking our lives in wherever the show took us. You never know where a path will take you and our road led us to Las Vegas to open Spamalot. We bought our first home after all that time in hotels. We figured if we wanted to move we could sell and buy somewhere else. Six months later the housing market crashed but in that time we also fell in love with Vegas. Not just the town but the people. Some of the most important people in our lives are here and we want to stay.
12 years later the house is still under water and maybe we should have walked away years ago when we could have bought cheap but it’s our first home.
Throughout my career we have had unexpected medical expenses and family emergencies that have put us back to starting over. It’s the life of an actor. Vegas was hit hard three years ago when it seems every show in town closed. We made the decision to not leave town. To tough it out. We have a home here. Many rescued pets that are our family. These last few years have been a struggle that I have not been able to overcome.
The mortgage company has given me until the middle of next week to pay back all that I’m behind on or they will foreclose. I don’t have the funds to move or rent another house and giving up our pets will never be an option. Since the house is under water I can’t sell and gain funds to move nor can I take equity out. I’ve exhausted all other resources so it’s time to humbly ask for help.
I feel like I’ve always been a generous person. I like helping other people. That’s easy. But asking for help is hard. I know that everyone is struggling just like me and if you can’t help, that’s ok. I get it. But I can’t just ask for a hand out. I need to give something in return and all I have to give is the one thing I’m good at. Music. I can offer the following:

for donations over $25 I will send you a digital copy of my CD.

Donations over $50. A signed hard copy of my CD

donations over $250 I will record any song you choose.

$1000 +  I will do a private concert for you or an organization of your choice locally (or within driving distance).

$5000+  A concert anywhere in the USA

give what you can. Even a dollar helps. I can’t thank you enough. Please share this with everyone you know.  You never know who has a friend or relative who’s always wanted to throw a private soirée for their friends.
