I am the first person in my family to attend to college, for that I feel very blessed and privileged. Each day I continue to work hard to maintain myself focused and continue to find ways to succeed.

I was currently working two jobs and attending to school. I was a cashier and I work at an office. I would get out from one job and walk/run to my other job. My day would start early in the morning riding from bus to bus, I would not get home until 10pm. I decided it was time to speed up my education and leave my second job because my health was deteriorate. At my former job I earned minimum wage and therefore, most of my money was spent on books.

I do not get financial aid which is part of why I am asking for your help. All the money donated will strictly go for the purchase of my books. Having two jobs became very stressful and it only allowed me to take 2 or 3 at the most, which is a pretty slow pace.

I will still continue to find ways to pay for my books such as baby-sitting, selling cakes, and/or yard sales. Please help I want to be able to get more classes done and hopefully get my A.A by the winter 2014 or spring of 2015. I will be thankful and make good use of my books, I will strive to earn my degree and know that kind people like you were there to help me. Thank you.
