Help Lukah Start Fresh

Meet Lukah, a 2.5year old Pug Cross whose start in life was a little rough. To add insult, Lukah developed knee problems (that were not aided by his less then favourable circumstances). Unable to cover the surgical costs his owners were going to have him put down. Thankfully, this beautiful little man was rescued, and the more than $4,000 funds required for his left knee surgery were covered.
That’s where we came in, adopting Lukah and agreeing to accept liability for his ongoing knee recovery and for the expenses that are likely to be required for his other (right) knee in the not to distant future (vets have warned it is most probable he will require the same surgical procedure on his right knee).
To add further insult to this beautiful boy, one week into his new life with us he became very unwell and was rushed to the emergency vet. In his previous desperation for food Lukah had ingested several large rubber chunks - these had been sitting in his stomach, too large for him to pass on his own, slowly damaging his intestines for more than 8weeks, unbeknownst to his previous foster carer or ourselves. He required emergency surgery, totalling more than $6,000!
If you are able to spare a few dollars change to assist us in getting this cuddly and beautiful little man back on his feet so he can start his new life, it would be more than appreciated.
