Supercross Dream

Donation protected
I was nine years old when my goal of becoming a professional motocross racer took hold of my life. Along with my father, I've had the opportunity to travel the United States racing against the best amateur riders on the toughest tracks. We've spent countless hours and money pursuing my dream of reaching the professional racing level and competing among the best in the world.

At the age of 20, I had a significant turning point in my motocross career. It was after 13 broken bones and 128 amateur race wins that I finally achieved my AMA professional motocross license. I found myself with a great sense of accomplishment and growing desire to compete among the best. Since then, I have raced 6 AMA outdoor nationals and finished in the top 25 among the best riders in the world.

However, now is the time for the final and most rewarding leap in my professional racing career; racing supercross. For those of you who aren't familiar with supercross, it's an indoor racing event generally held in baseball and football stadiums around the world. With jumps up to 75 feet long, it's often considered to be the most exciting form of motorcycle racing because of the constant bar to bar racing action and difficult rhythm jumping sections. For 17 weeks of the year, 20 of the worlds best supercross riders bang bars in hopes of taking home the championship, but more importantly the title and reputation of being the absolute best.

I have a vision of my father and I sitting on that starting gate of an AMA professional supercross, ready to race the best, fully comprehending what the previous 15 years of my life were all about. All the long drives, sleeping in random parking lots in the truck, house payments missed, broken bones, sweat, blood, tears, heartache, all coming to fruition in that very moment of staring down that starting line. Good times and bad, through it all, I've never lost sight of my dream. It will all be worth it for that one moment.

That moment will be in Houston, Tx, on April 5, 2014. That's the day my dream will become a reality, where my heart will become full. I will compete against the worlds best riders with multi-million dollar budgets and salaries. I will show these riders that I have arrived, I'm here to stay, and most importantly I'm here to compete.

I am taking on my own fundraising campaign with plans of sticking to a very strict budget. All $100 donations or more will receive one free training session at my motocross school. If you're not a rider, you will receive a super sweet Tyler Livesay t-shirt in which you are guaranteed to be cooler than all your friends.

Thanks everyone for your help in accomplishing my lifelong dream! God Bless.
