Hello everyone,
Thanks for stopping in to see our page. Our names are Brad Patocka and Molly Petrie, we're two filmmakers who have been given the wonderful opportunity to travel to Uganda and help promote an organization called Change a Life Uganda (CALU).
Since its founding in 2007, CALU has dedicated itself to providing children an education, necessary to rise above their means. Half the population in Uganda is under the age of 15, and many children have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. Through overseas sponsorship CALU has managed to build a school and send dozens of students there every year. CALU has managed to fundraise thousands of dollars over the years and their organization has flourished.
However, the founders of the organization have struggled to reach out to an audience outside of their community. That's where we come in. With our background in photography and documentary film we've design a media program that will both educate and inspire a broad audience of people about the benefit of sponsoring a child's education, and the impact that would have on their lives.
Brad and I are happy to volunteer our time and our skills but we need your help to raise enough money to cover our travel expenses. No amount is too small and all contributions are greatly appreciated.
