Nepal earthquake relief

Donation protected

Hello everyone.

Recently, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. While communities are coming together to help one another out, the country is struggling financially to provide relief after the disaster. So far, the death toll within the city is almost 2000 people. But search and rescue teams are still trying to find more people under the rubble. Nepalese people have lost their homes, their properties and a big part of their history. Some of our most prized monuments have been lost.
So, if you could donate anything, it would be a great help to a people in need. The Nepalese are a poor people with rich hearts :) Please help and pray.

When you donate to this fund, it will be rerouted to either NGOs within Kathmandu or to Galaxy Public School, that is actively giving support to residents within Kathmandu. I have sent several emails to other humanitarian organizations and contacts to make sure that this money is spent economically on materials that will alleviate some of the difficulties on the ground. Should anyone want more information, feel free to contact me via email provided at the end.

Many of my friends, family members and colleagues are actively helping civilians on the ground. Furthermore, Bir hospital and many other public insitutions are struggling to provide water, medicine and food to people. The heavy rains are causing even more problems within the affected zones. A volunteer team is being put together to collaborate with this funding, that will use it for three purposes:

Search and Rescue
Food, water and medical supplies
-Rain jackets
-Clean Water
-Sanitation instruments
-Blankets
-Ready to eat meals
-Food for volunteers
-Tents
Reconstruction and temporary shelter

My name is Anjali Limbu. I am a senior Political Science and Economics Major at Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY, USA, 13820. I am a Nepalese citizen, born and raised in Kathmandu, who is too far away from home to make any physical contribution. Therefore, for someone like me who has access to online banking, unlike the rest of the country, my contributions have to be solely economic or facilitatory. I will willingly answer any accountability questions and keep the process as transparent as possible. When enough money is collected, I will post updates of the transactions from my account into that of various NGOs, schools and hospitals in Kathmandu.

My immediate family is safe and sound for now. But my larger Nepalese family is not! Any help is appreciated!

I can provide any information, phone numbers or proof in terms of accountability.

Thank you for your support!
Be kind and humane to one another xx <3
