Carol Boyd - Love For Learning 19/20

We have been working hard this year to identify a teacher for the 2019-2020 school year and I'm happy to say we have found her! As many of you know, school supply drives are primarily held prior to the school year starting. It provides teachers with just about everything they need to start their year off right. However, once teachers get settled in, they start to realize that there are other items they will need to help their students have a successful year.

We are proud to announce that Jessica Jacobs will be the recipient of our donation this year. Jessica just started her 17th year teaching - all in Euclid City Schools in Ohio. She graduated from BGSU with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and earned a Master’s in Reading from Nova Southeastern University. Her school is considered an inner-ring low income school and she chose to teach in an underprivileged community to try to make a difference in the lives of students who really need it most!

We can't think of a better teacher to help out. Any money raised will be used to purchase existing items on her Amazon Wish List. If we are able to cover everything on her list, we will donate the remainder in a gift card to allow her to purchase anything else she may need later in the year.
