I Need Your Help

Hello Facebook! I have a lifelong friend ( she’s most likely your friend too) that is in a medical crisis. I reached out to her and asked her if I could set up this page because I feel she is more than deserving and in need of our help. She’s very proud and reluctant to ask for help. I suggested that I could do this without mentioning her name. After months of consideration, she reluctantly agreed to allow me to ask for help on her behalf. Here is a short Synopsis of her condition.
Our friend worked many years for Hutchinson Hospital as an LPN. In 2011 she was forced to retire due to rheumatoid arthritis and the continued infections that she incurred due to the treatment. In 2016 she had a hip replacement but it dislocated three times and she was in serious need of a revision surgery. She was getting ready to have that surgery but in June 2018 she started having severe stomach issues and ended up with a ruptured bowel and sepsis. This resulted in her having to have an emergency colostomy July 3. 2018. Needless to say she’s incurred a lot of medical bills. This is a woman that lives very frugally, never asked for anything, and would give anybody the shirt off her back. It’s now time for the reversal of the colostomy, but due to unpaid medical bills, she is unable to get the surgery. I know it’s a hard time of the year to raise money but I also know that we have a lot of great and generous friends. All I’m asking is if you can afford to give as little as 5 dollars, please do so because it adds up fast. Thanking you all in advance for your generosity. Let’s get this girl taken care of.
