My First Trip to the Aquarium!

We are a group of eager first graders from a Title I school. The majority of us are English language learners from low income families. We are scientists, researchers, writers, readers, and mathematicians. We are excited to use our new found vocabulary and language skills. We are currently learning about animals and their habitats. Using our new knowledge, we will complete a research project.  We have learned that one method of research is observation and talking to experts. We plan on implementing this method at the Baltimore Aquarium. We have read many books about marine life and are looking forward to seeing them in person for the first time!
Most of us have never been to Baltimore, let alone an aquarium. We are extremely excited to go on our first field trip!
We are already paying $8 each for a seat on the bus, but we are still short by $650 to pay for the buses and parking fees.
We are planning to go on January 9th, 2017. We appreciate any help we can get!
