Vet Undergoes Amputation - Jerrysjammers

My Dad Jerry 74 recently had an above the knee amputation. June 29th 2018 was a day we never thought would happen. After many past health issues he now needed to learn to walk again. My Dad lost my Mom in 2011 and now needs someone to help him pretty much 24/7 until he can learn to walk again. He lost his leg due to DIABETES. just a few of the things we have had to do to help him at home, He needed his carpet removed from the house and a new floor installed so he can maneuver around in his wheelchair and now his prosthetic, he needed a lift chair to help him stand up, his bed needed to be raised up to help him out of bed, rails needed to be placed on the walls to help him with balance, and we needed to install a wheelchair ramp and he will need his driveway blacktopped soon, and not to mention his overwhelming medical bills. My Dad is a Vet, he never applied for benefits through the VA. We are beginning that process now but that is not an easy task. We will be having a benefit to help him with all his needs.
