WHY DO WE NEED HELP?
Based at the University of Westminster film school, we are a group of young filmmakers setting out to make a short film for our first major course project. As it will certainly be the most ambitious film we have all worked on so far, we want to make it great, and with most things in life, that means we reluctantly need a little bit of cash! Of course, we are still working on a tight budget, but with the money we hope to raise we will be able to cover the expenses of actors, location fees, equipment, set building, props, costumes, travel, distribution, marketing... You get the idea!
THE FILM
Charity is a sixteen-year-old girl who lives with her mother and siblings within an Irish traveller community, currently residing nearby a costal town. Wandering aimlessly along the pebble beach and through the empty penny arcades that line the promenade, she feels isolated from society, never really understanding her place within it. Upon arriving home one evening, Charity is met in her family's caravan by her mother and the news that her estranged brother will soon be released from prison. Speechless, Charity struggles to accept this information, and her anxiety only grows deeper as two weeks later, her brother returns home.

We are still in the early stages of production for the film, but with barely three months until we shoot, we need to raise money as soon as possible!
