Beekeeping In Galway - Clubhouse

Donation protected

Tribes Beekeepers Association is a beekeeping club in the west of Ireland. We train new beekeepers and support each other's beekeeping thereafter. We meet monthly at our clubhouse in Kilcornan, Clarinbridge and weekly during the summer. Everyone knows the value of bees these days given that they fertilize much of the food we eat and that honey bee numbers worldwide are unsteady to say the least. Without beekeepers there would be even fewer bees today. The bees managed by beekeepers are fed, housed and treated for diseases and parasites etc. Wild bees have no such luxuries and are almost non-existent in Ireland. The Tribes clubhouse is in need of refurbishment. The plumbing and wiring in the building needs to be replaced and the walls need to be insulated. So we are trying to raise money to cover these costs. There is little or no money in hobby beekeeping and we need a warm and dry building for our activities. When we have a better clubhouse we can increase our activities year round and improve the lot of the Irish honeybees. Please give generously.
