Help is needed for post-radiation treatment care for Israel's mom! Please help by donating today so the service can continue!
My good friend Israel has struggled with paying bills after his late wife (pictured above with Israel) passed from cancer two years ago. She fought for 18 months to beat it but it took her life instead, yet left him with huge expenses! He stayed by her side throughout the whole time. He has done everything he could to stay on top of those bills and expenses. He took out personal loans, cashed out 401Ks, cashed in college savings for his daughter and remortgaged his home, but can barely make ends meet. He works hard, cares for their daughter and tries to manage the expenses and responsibilities of being a single parent.
He's doing the best that he can!
Recently Israel's mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and had her lumpectomy in October. Israel had to do something to help his mom after seeing his wife suffer so badly. She has since been undergoing radiation treatment so Israel set up in-home care to help her with personal needs. She is tired and worn out. No one else can help her and it was the right thing to do! He really needs help in covering this expense so that he can continue to try to tackle his other bills. As of right now the in-home care has stopped . She is on a brief break from treatment but the contract was signed and if he does not make the entire payment it will not continue once the treatment starts again.
The total amount due is $9000. Any donation received will be sent directly to the in-home care provider to help Israel's mom with personal care, household tasks, shopping etcetera. This is important to keep her comfortable, and keep her rested for the next treatment. She is so tired and weak right now from the radiation treatment! She should not have to be worrying about the household tasks she would normally be doing. She needs her strength to heal and recover!
