Trips to Shriners Hospital for Dani

As many of you already know, our 8-year-old daughter Danilynn was recently burnt in a pretty serious grease fire while at our neighbor’s house, while celebrating said neighbors’ last night in the state. While remaining the incredibly strong and brave young woman we knew she is, this event has no doubt uprooted Dani’s life. She loves school and being around friends and her burns will keep her from those things in the weeks to follow. We currently have appointments scheduled with Shriners Children’s Hospital for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the next 2-3 weeks. These trips to Boston come at a cost. And while there is no price to put on your child’s health, added costs on a week-to-week budget can be a strenuous load to bear. We are asking for anything to help with gas, tolls, and I have had to miss time from work which we really could not afford on a week without these new costs.
