NISAPI Healing Trauma With Horses

Please help Now I See A Person Institute. We need a permanent ranch for our clients to heal for Now I See A Person is like a home for them at their lowest points in their lives. We need scholarships to serve new clients and continuing the work with current clients. Now I See A Person Institute calls what we do--Healing Under Served Populations using Community Engagement: A Collaborative Recovery Model (CEACRM) at a horse ranch. Our clients, most with histories of extensive trauma, PTSD and severe family conflicts, come to a nurturing and normal horse ranch to heal and recover. This model of therapy (CEACRM) is evidence based reflecting recovery for a broad range of mental health and substance challenges, populations and diagnoses. Our clients are surrounded by nature, normalcy, & nurturance to heal. Most work is pro-bono since our services may be several times a week and for several hours for our clients and their families. Learners from various states and countries come to learn and study under Dr. Swim and her team of therapists.
