Eriks Battle

Everybody meet Erik. He is 6 years old and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in January. He fought for months and was finally well enough to get a transplant from his 4 year old brother about 4 months ago. Erik was doing spectacular and was told by the doctors that they had never seen a child do so well after a transplant. Erik got to go home for about a month, and then everybody's worst nightmares came true and the cancer came back. This time the doctors said that it was more aggressive than the last time. For the last month Erik has been fighting as hard as he can possibly fight. We were all just informed that Erik is being released from the hospital on October 12th to go home and spend the rest of his time with his family on hospice. Erik has been given a maximum of 30 days after he returns home. His mother now has the task that no mother ever wants to have to go through and plan his final services. I am asking that everybody look deep in their hearts and help donate anything that you can. There has been no money set aside for this worst case scenario. I want to thank you all ahead of time for all of your love, generosity, and support that you have given to Erik and his family.
