The amount of love Jimmy has received is beyond amazing and inspiring! When I first started this page, I knew very little, but what I did know is that funds, love, and prayers were going to be needed! Seeing the amazing outpouring, I have never been more proud of where I came from than I am now!

I picked $5000 for a goal because, well, I needed to do something! Unfortunately, I have since learned that money doesnt go far with such a life changing diagnosis! I have no doubt that this new goal is reachable as long as we keep sharing! I will continue with updates and you can also get them by following Jimmy's Journey!

Jimmy and the Miller/Lyons family still need your help! Please continue sharing, even if you cant donate, and donate if possible! XOXO

Jimmy's story:

11/13 from Shannon:

"Yesterday we recieved a call saying Jimmy's bloodwork came back abnormal. They told us we needed to take him to Dayton Children's. When we arrived we were shortly greeted by the head of the Oncology department. They ran a few more tests and said that things pointed toward Leukemia. Today they did a bone marrow aspiration. Later this afternoon they came and told us he has AML Leukemia. The whole time in my head I am thinking my god I just thought he had strep throat. Achy body and sore throat. Never in my wildest dreams was this even a thought. Tomorrow he will have a spinal tap and his first dose of Chemo. Many people have messaged us. We are trying to wrap our heads around our new situation. My heart has never felt a feeling like it is currently feeling. My brain is still trying to process everything it has been told in this very fast 24 hours. Please know we are not ignoring anyones messages we are simply focusing now on Jimmy Miller. Please keep our baby in your thoughts and prayers.❤"

As you can imagine, this has been devastating for the Miller/Lyons family (Shannon, Jason, Jimmy, Ryder, and 4 month old Maverick). Within 2 days, they went from thinking the worst was antibiotics and strep throat to cancer and chemo.

Shannon recently left her job as a daycare teacher of 20+ years, to care for the children of friends and neighbors out of her home. This will not be possible while Jimmy is going through his treatments. Not only because of doctor and chemo appointments, but they will need to keep Jimmy free from colds and illnesses that kids spread so easily.

Please consider helping this family through this horrible time by giving a donation.  Dollars add up. ANY amount you are able to afford will help this family focus on Jimmy and ease the burden of worrying about money. If you are unable to donate, please share this post! Thank you! XOXO
