Luna’s Hopitalization

My name is Monika and I have a cat named Luna. She swallowed a string and has been vomiting everything she eats. I took her to the emergency vet, they did x-rays and couldn’t see anything too clearly so they let her go. Took her to the vet the next day, did more x-rays and couldn’t see the string but saw that her instestines had stool in them. She didn’t go to the litter box all day and had been feeling down, hiding, not drinking water and eating very little. I took her to the emergency again after she threw up again, and they did more x-rays. They saw that her instestines were full of stool and had to hospitalize her since she was so dehydrated. I’m hoping she won’t need surgery because this has been so stressful not only for me but also for my poor little Luna. The bills for all of the x-rays + hospitalization + blood work is already much more than what I can pay but I will never forgive myself if I don’t do anything in my power to make her feel better and not sick again. 2 of the x-rays were $400 each since they were on emergency hours, and the other was $300. The blood work + hospitalization was another $700, plus all of the fluids and emergency hour fees it comes to a total of a little more than $2000. If they have to do surgery on her it’ll be a couple thousand more than that, but I’m praying that she will get better and won’t need surgery.
