Alexsandra Warren is many things to many people: doting daughter to Shannon Trammell, adoring granddaughter to Sandy Warren; faithful sister to Nick, Tristin, Noah, Jordan, Jenna and Brandon; proud Kappa Delta sorority sister to many, dog lover and mom to Annabelle and Mila, student at the University of South Alabama, future doctor … and recently she learned that she is also someone who is currently battling cancer.
Alexsandra has a malignant tumor growing into her scapula. It’s still early in her cancer journey, but her oncologist believes it might be some type of sarcoma, or maybe an extranodal lymphoma.
While Alexsandra has immeasurable love and support of her tight-knit family, devoted friends and fiercely loyal sorority sisters, the medical expenses to diagnose and treat her cancer have already become overwhelming – and her battle is still just beginning. The copays alone for each of the numerous scans and ongoing oncology visits are growing at a rapid pace; such expenses would be a hardship on most families.
