Jonah's Journey

Jonah's Journey...

Dana, his mother noticed an enlarged lymph node in his neck a few weeks ago and they quickly had a biopsy done. This revealed possible Lymphoma. A week later, and after many grueling tests, Jonah was diagnosed with ETP T-ALL (Early T-cell Precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). They are currently at St. Jude and will be moving to the Ronald McDonald house this week. Jonah will be getting an aggressive Chemotherapy regimen, with a series of twice weekly Lumbar punctures.
Jonah hasn't been a stranger to  Doctor visits, hospitals or procedures. He was born with Transposition of the great vessels,(this is where the Pulmonary artery and Aorta are backwards). There were other procedures and problems that occurred but he did well until a few years ago when his Aorta started to narrow again. He has had to have a stent and recently an Angioplasty. Jonah had just received a perfect report from the Cardiologist when the enlarged Lymph node was discovered.
Jonah, his parents Dana and Chris, and two brothers, Brandon and Noah will have a long journey ahead of them.  This will require around the clock, vigilant care for many months.  During  this time, Dana and Chris will be battling along side Jonah as they attempt to juggle and maintain their "everyday."
St. Jude is a place of miracles and we ask for your prayers and any support there may be had to offer.
