Helping Children Around The World

My name is Mallory Napolillo and I’m one of Heather Black’s best friends!! Heather lost her little girl last year in a very horrific, tragic car accident! Keira would’ve turned 8 on April 27, 2017 but her life was cut short due to someone being very careless and striking their truck causing her dad to loose control of their truck! Keira lived 9 days after the crash. Heather was only able to see her baby girl 2 times! Once was on a Tuesday where the room was filled with lots of people and Heather was in so much pain that she can’t remember that very first visit too well! The second visit was when the doctor came in and told Heather that Keira was gone! Shattered and numb and not being able to hold her little girl - Heather struggled a great deal! Core didn’t waste anytime to barge in and wanting Heather to make the decision of letting Keira be an organ donor! Stunned and full of many emotions , Heather demanded time alone with her Princess! Unable to hold Keira , Heather struggled to find the words! She told me that she didn’t want Keira to be a donor but felt it was out of her hands!! As she was laying there staring at her beautiful baby girl she remembered Keira wanting to grow her hair so that she could donate it! So being Heather did whatever Keira wanted she allowed her to do so! Heather took Keira to Tawyna Pirl’s shop and Tawyna cut Keira’s hair and sent it off to Pantene!! Keira was so proud and said, “every little girl needs to feel beautiful!” See Heather knew that this couldn’t be the end of Keira’s journey! She struggled a lot and was at church one Sunday morning and her Pastor was reading announcements and he mentioned shoeboxes!! It hit her then that this is what she would do in memory of Keira!! So she decided that in October she would fill 400 shoeboxes and well with the support of the community she did just that. This year we set our goal to 1,000 shoeboxes and well we got The 1,000 plastic shoeboxes!! We just need some help filling the rest of them and for shipping! To ship a Shoebox it’s $9.00 per box and we are needing at least $9,000. Keira’s journey on this earth isn’t over just yet! She was always giving her stuff away or sneaking her brothers toys to give away! Let’s help Heather raise money so that it is less of A burden for her and more joy!!! We took a hard hit just a few days ago, we was promised 400 filled boxes and now that isn’t happening! So when I say we need $9,000 that would just cover shipping not the 400 boxes that isn’t being filled now! We could really use your help! Even if everyone would donate $1 or $2 dollars that would be amazing!! Let’s let Keira Black live on this earth and help reach children around the world and let them learn about God! This isn’t where Keira’s story ended on March 19, 2017 - this is where her gift of life to those who got her organs live on further! Children around the world will know Keira’s love lives on and people like yourself is what makes this world a better place!! So I’m begging you all to give just a little or a lot but give to help us reach our goal! Keira loved children and helping people and she loved Jesus so once again let’s raise this money for This amazing cause!!
