Indonesia Disaster Relief

As the media remains silent, people continue to suffer.  A powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake had struck the coast of Sulawesi, Indonesia, generating cascading natural disasters that devastated over 2.4 million people. Rescue teams are struggling to reach affected areas due to widespread destruction of roads, bridges and power. Additionally, remote communities are finding it difficult to reach the necessary aid due to limited equipment.  The Muslim Students Association's of USYD, USYD's Health Science campus and UNSW, Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Australia and Australia-Indonesia Youth Association have come together and joined forces to provide vital emergency aid to those in need.
