Help Me Record a CD

Hello! I'm a stay at home mom of two little boys, aged 1 and 3. Music has always been a huge part of my life. As a child I took lessons in guitar, piano and voice, attended choir camps, and completed a music minor in university. I recorded a CD in highschool with two dear friends, and recently I recorded a song with a Brazilian composer.
For a few years I have been thinking about recording a Children's album, and decided that now is the time! Singing to my children is such an important component of each day, which is what inspired the idea for this CD.
I will be recording fun, silly songs we sing, including "This Little Light of Mine", "I've Got The Joy", and "B-I-N-G-O". And I'll record the songs we sing every night before bed: "Jesus Loves Me", "Away in a Manger", "The Lord's Prayer", and others, pending licensing! Besides singing, I play guitar, ukulele, piano, and percussion instruments, all of which will be heard on the album.
Many of our favourite songs are ones my parents sang to me as a child. Their lyrics stayed with me and helped shape the person that I am today. "Jesus Loves Me" is a good example of that. Hearing it as a child and singing it every night solidified my faith. I want the same thing for my children, and for yours too.
My hope for this project is that you and your children will laugh and dance to the fun and silly songs, and be encouraged and calmed by the bedtime songs.
I am raising money to help pay for song licensing, recording time, special recording equipment, and physical production of the album.
This project means so much to me because I believe music can change and enrich our lives. I want to have this keepsake for my children and bless others with it at the same time.
