Mama’s Pasta & Brew Moose-ATZ Alumni

Since the 1970s the men of FarmHouse ATZ (formerly Alpha Zeta) have frequented the wonderful establishment known as Mama’s Pasta and Brew. Scores of fraternity men have spent countless nights throughout their college careers at this watering hole and the moose is a mascot of the establishment. Sadly, call it gentrification, beautification, or outright communism... campus partners have decided our place for refreshment must be torn down for expansion of more luxury housing. Brian (the current owner and manager of Mama’s) has offered up the Moose to our fraternity in an effort to keep it in Columbus. An Akron buyer has offered him $6000 for the moose, but he says he’d be willing to cut us a discount on it (unclear at this point how much would be enough). We ask all past alumni of FarmHouse ATZ (or an Alpha Zeta Fraternity alumnus) please consider donating to this noble cause.

If we reach our goal I have been talking to brothers in the house and we think it would be ideal to offer $5000 to Brian for the moose, and use the left over funds to make a nice plaque to hang under the moose in the house's trophy room. The plaque will have the opening and closing dates of our favorite establishment, as well as a list of the brothers who donated ($50+) towards the moose!
