Please Help My Son Bear

Donation protected
After I got out of the United States Navy separated for PTSD, I found myself lost and with no sense of comfort. I got an eight week old German Shepherd and named him Bear. Bear turned into more than just a four legged companion he became my emotional support system and can always read any emotion I'm feeling and actually saved me from making a huge mistake by being by my side and just consoling me. I got home today and my best friend had his back leg snapped in three spots. After immediately rushing him to the vet I was posed with 3 choices that no friend should have to make for another. The choices were to put him down due to the brake, amputation of his leg which would hinder him in the long run or come up with 4,000 for him to have a surgery which is 99 percent of the time successful and he would have a normal life. Obviously, choice 3 is the choice I would love to occur but due to being let go from my job last month I have been unsuccessful in finding employment to assist me in paying for the surgery. Thsi is a very humbling thing for me to do because I never like to reach for help from others and never expect anyone to take care of my responsibility which in this instance is like a son to me since I don't have children. Please I humbly plead to everyone who reads this to consider donating so my son can have a chance at a normal life. If you read this far thank you for at least contemplating donating. Thank you in advance to all who a willing to assist and those who can at least pray for my furbaby. Thank you for y'all's time. #helpbearsugery
