In this family, we are 4. Hugo, Marolyn, Milagros, and Chiquita (our dog). We lost our home, business and pet in the fire. So not only did we lose our home, but we also lost our future. Hugo was building A jewelry business and invested in jewelry, gifts, and collectables. Before the insurance policy for the inventory could become active, the fire burned it all away. From pearls, gold, silver, diamonds and other precious stones. Hugo going through immigration procedures, does not qualify for a work authorization permit and is now at risk for deportation in the near future. Marolyn was working on becoming an electrical engineer, but after the fire and subsequent situations, depression, anxiety, and a worsening fibro Myalgia made her disabled. Now we are only receiving only $800 in disability once a month. Hugo is not only Marolyn's husband, but also her caretaker. Hugo being deported will be devastating for her health. Milagros, our 10-year-old daughter, is a smart, loving, and wonderful personality. Marolyn and Hugo live, work, and fight for Mili's future which burned down in the fire. We are trying to get $5000 to pay for immigration fees and processes and to be able to survive.
