Paschke House Fire Fund

Donation protected

This is a Donation fund for Mike and Donna Paschke, their daughter Jessica Paschke, her fiance Kevin Chappell, their two foster children Destiny (age 10) and Autumn Patterson (age 9), and their four family dogs Abby, Alexis, Callie, and Dixie.

On January 8th, 2014 they had a house fire that has made thier house uninhabitable, though fortunately no one was injured. The chimney developed a crack that started an attic fire.Jessica and the two little girls were at the house, but unaware of the fire cause there was no smoke on the ground level. A good Samaritan was driving by and noticed a lot of smoke coming from the top of the house and rushed into the house to get everyone out along with their pets. He then climbed atop the house with a fire extinguisher and attempted to spray inside the eve of the house which helped to hold back the fire from getting worse until the Fire Department was able to arrive. Their quick response to the house also helped to save the house from being completely burned down. The fire damaged many of the rafters and wiring to the majority of the house. Water damaged much of the floor and ceiling in all the rooms. The smoke damaged virtually everything.

Red Cross was able to help in the beginning and the Insurance company has started on the repairs, but there are still many stuggles the family is having to endure, such as, lost wages and more expensive electric bills. They thank you in advance for any and all help you are able to offer. These are hard times for everyone and they understand not everyone will be able to offer financial help, just sharing this page and story is a way of helping in this time of need.
