Veterans Family Loses House in Fire
On the morning of Janurary 7th 2014 around 11am, tragedy struck the home of an Army veteran, her fiance' and their two small children leaving them with nothing more than the clothes on their backs and each other. Immediately after the fire broke out, the community was reaching out with donations such as clothing, toiletries and toys. However, this family has been left homeless. Red Cross has kindly provided them with a hotel to stay in for two nights, but after that, the young family will be left with nowhere to go. The little money they did have was burned up in the blaze. Although they now have clothes on their backs and food in their bellies thanks to the amazing help of family and friends, they have no money to actually move into a home. Our goal with gofundme is to raise enough money for security deposit and first months rent to get them back on their feet and a permanent roof over their heads and a little help toward new furnishings. Any donations are greatly appreciated and will help immensely. Thank you so much for your support!
