Help A Trans Person Be Free

Hi, my name is Colt. I am a trans male that currently resides in Chicago, IL. I am trying to raise money to relocate to Massachusetts to finish my medical transition and for a fresh start. I am a transgender male. I started my medical transition in March of 2014. I have been trying to get my chest surgery since May of 2014 but haven't had much luck due to insurance reasons. There is currently no surgeons that accept my insurance where I live. I have been binding my chest for almost 8 years. Binding is uncomfortable and can be painful. I am trying to move to MA to get my top surgery and for a fresh start. The insurance in MA is more trans inclusive and I also want to move to a place I feel more comfortable as a trans person. Any amount will really help. About me: I am 25 years old. I am a trans and mental health advocate. I also work with animals. I enjoy helping whenever I am able to and truly enjoy the work that I do in helping others. By having top surgery, I will feel more authentic and be able to help even more people. My long term goals in the future are to go to school to be a case worker to help vulnerable LGBTQ+ people in all walks of life. I enjoy helping others. In doing this, I feel like my quality of life will improve greatly. Thanks for reading.
