Help me go to Reiki for a Better World

Donation protected
Dear Reiki friends,

As many of you know, Reiki has been an integral part of my life for the past decade. In all this time, I have been following Reiki wherever it guides me. It led me in 2007 to leave my day job and launch a private Reiki practice working with clients and then quickly into a growing adventure teaching Reiki to seekers as a lifestyle and as a profession. Reiki also led me to Beverly in 2009 and to opening The Healing Center, which continues to serve as the heart of a growing Reiki community on the North Shore. Reiki also led me to pursue an MBA at Endicott College these past two years so I can offer Reiki programs more widely and serve my students and staff by passing on the business skills they need to be prosperous and successful with their own endeavors.

In December, Reiki led me to a meeting of Reiki teachers in Massachusetts, where I received the blessing of meeting legendary teachers from our area who brought Reiki into the local colleges and hospitals. In addition, I had the honor of meeting the granddaughter of Hawayo Takata, the current Grandmaster of Reiki, Phyllis Furamoto who has traveled for many years teaching and practicing Reiki with people all over the world.

Shortly after that meeting, I had a lovely conversation with Phyllis while she interviewed me for her Reiki Talk Show. Our conversation about my Reiki journey, practicing Reiki, and serving the public is airing on January 9th at 1pm Pacific / 4pm Eastern. You can listen to it on her website here.

I was honored again when Phyllis also invited me to attend a very special event for Reiki "pioneers" she is co-hosting in Arizona this February called Reiki for a Better World: Regenerating our Purpose. The intention of this gathering is to explore and support her global Reiki vision of shifting Reiki from the fringe of alternative health into becoming a global, mainstream choice for healing and regeneration. Wow!

I feel very called to attend this meeting of Reiki "pioneers" so I can bring this mission back to Massachusetts and mobilize our vibrant and diverse community of Reiki practitioners and students to contribute to making this vision a reality. I plan to hold a community meeting in the spring to share everything I learned at this meeting and help you understand how you can be a part of this global Reiki vision.

And now I need your help to get there!

Could you make a personal donation right now to help me purchase plane tickets to Arizona and attend the gathering on February 19-23?

In gratitude for your help with getting me to Arizona, I will be hosting that community talk I mentioned above, and below I have outlined a few ways that I can repay you with my time, energy and, of course, with Reiki.

Thank you so much for your support - please make a donation today!
