Love for Liz

Less than 2 months ago and only days after losing her dad to Parkinsons Disease, our beautiful friend Liz was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal Cancer.  With her unwavering spirit, sense of humor, tenacity, courage, and little time to grieve she set off on her journey to rid her body of this unwanted guest.  She is currently undergoing conventional chemotherapy treatments and will begin radiation in November. Only a few weeks into her treament, and the side effects are taking a toll. To help lessen the severity of the side effects caused by chemotherapy, Liz is recieving holistic treatments, not covered by insurance.
When you are on your own, as Liz is, it's not easy to ask for help, let alone take care of day to day tasks while battling cancer. These treatments allow her to get through her day in ways that many of us take for granted. Treatment costs are mounting and she will not be able to continue without financial help.
