My name is Muhammad Abdul-Rehman and I used to be a student at the same school that Miss Maria Taught at. Multiple sources have verfied this cause and we are more than willi g to answer any more questions. Miss Maria has been denied for Indian Visa twice and is now looking to come to the United states for treatment since there is no option available in Pakistan for her Husband Aleem. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1041355809373638/permalink/1080221102153775/ "It was just 4 months ago, life looked like a fairy tale. My husband Aleem Haider Jonejo and I Maria Abdullah felt as if we are the happiest couple on the face of this earth. Our jobs were great and we both loved working in our organizations. He works for Allied bank and I work for a reputable school Generations. Allah plans better and different for us. We might not understand this now but we will realize that soon. So... Aleem was diagnosed with end stage lungs disease after hardly 10 days of his illness. It was lungs infection and he was short of breath. His pulmonologist Dr Tabish Rehman from LIAQUAT National hospital said that due to his primary cilliary dyskinesia and dextrocardia, he has gradually developed bronchiectasis which has irreversibly damaged his lungs and he will be on O2 supply 24/7 till he gets for himself a new pair of lungs. He also warned us about his gradual heart failure. According to him and my google search cardio-pulmonary transplant is not available in pakistan yet. We had to look for international help. Our quest started. We decided for india due to few reasons. 1. It was cheapest in the world (we were not even able to afford that) 2. We speak almost same languages. 3. It was closest of all. 4. The quality of treatment was great. From here on I started contacting people there and soon got a call from Global hospital Chennai. I sent them all reports and they confirmed that we need transplant. They sent me cost estimation document and I started my campaign of funds raising. Fortunately our organizations and colleagues and friends helped us a lot and we were able to generate enough funds to leave for India. We got all documents ready, applied for the visa and started planning our future with a lot of hope in heart. I would show him pictures of lungs transplant survivors from around the globe and we would plan where will we go once he starts breathing normal. We came back to reality when indian high commission rejected our visa after one month and a week. It didn't state any specific reason. It was written on the card our passports had "indian high commission islamabad is not in the position to issue you the visa right now but you may apply again and your application will be considered without any prejudice". I applied again the very next day. During this time of wait I tried contacting madam Sushma Swaraj on twitter but all in vain. I contacted many tv channels as well to promote our story so that indians take it seriously and don't consider it as a scam or some propaganda. Unfortunately, our media had something more important to cover and that was "Elections 2018". I tried my best contacting Iqrar ul hassan but he never responded and would even drop my calls. Ansar burney would speak to me with kindness and he tried as well to help me but I think that was not destined. After two weeks of my second visa, my husband received a call from indian high commission islamabad and the officer Parkash said that we must not apply for visa again as we are not allowed to get medical visa if we are going for lungs transplant. I was shocked. It had been two months now that we were waiting for the visa. The man spoke to me (later) so rigidly and slammed the phone. Aleem was feeling very low that day. We were disheartened. Parkash was kind enough to keep the passports with him for a couple of days and gave us a little room to contact Sushma Swaraj and get special permission. Since that day I'm trying my best to convince her. I have started a campaign on Twitter as well (@Maria35752813 ). I request everyone to help me save a young man's life. We really want to live a normal life and feel the same joy. In case we don't get indian visa, we will have to look for transplant in other countries but the cost will have to be covered as it is way too expensive than indian treatment. Thank you, Maria Abdullah Cell # 00923450680663 " After being denied for indian Visa twice they decided to try the USA "Alhamdulillah We have received confirmation abd appointment from Cleveland hospital, Ohio. UCLA hospital is also interested. I am working on some documents for medical visa and as soon as I get them, will apply for the USA medical visa. However, I'm short of money. I currently have 31000 $ in my account and the amount required is around 1.7 million usd maximum. Please take your part in saving a young man's life. Share and convince people. Please feel free to ask for any sort of confirmation and/or documents." My Name is Muhammad Abdul-Rehman I was a student at the same school that Miss Maria taught at in Karachi Pakistan. I currently live in Dallas TX, I am running the campaign for her because Go Fund Me does not currently function out of Pakistan.  I am raising funds which will be used in her husband's treatment. Currently they are beginning to inject stem cells. The money will be used in covering medical costs, hospital fees and if required in traveling expenses. I am starting to withdraw funds which will be handed over in cash to the Aleem's doctor who is currently here in the US. Dr Mahmood Ahmad is the treating Doctor and his phone number is [phone redacted].
