Friends of Patty Tomes Medical Fund

As many of you know, Patty has bravely battled with breast cancer for a few years now.  She has been through chemotherapy, radiation treatment and seven surgeries during the course of this battle.
We all had thought that the worst was behind us.
Unfortunately, we had recently received the news that the cancer has spread to her liver and spine.  She is now receiving inpatient treatment at UPenn.
Patty received the news of her new fight with cancer with dignity, grace and determination; but that is her way.  The boundless love she has for her children and family keep her spirits secure and we will repay that strength by staying strong for her.
As you can imagine, the weight of her continual medical bills has been daunting to say the least.  Patty's new battle will only serve to increase the financial difficulty her family has stuggled under these past years.
While we cannot physically help Patty with her new challenge, we can try and alleviate a small portion of the stress & anxiety associated with it.
What we, her brothers & sisters, are trying to do is establish a fund that will assist her family with everything from hospital bills to medications to everyday necessities.
If you are reading this, chances are you know Patty.  And if you know her, you love her.  She is the most kind, giving, selfless person we know.
Please, whatever you can give to help Patty and her family through this extremely difficult time would mean the world to us.
