- What Happened -
Davey Albright is a co-worker, classmate, and most importantly a friend of mine. On Friday, August 31st, we had a terrible rainstorm that caused some minor flooding. My friend Davey was playing by a drainage ditch with his brother when he slipped in due to the rain. He was pushed by all the oncoming water, and was sucked into the storm pipe. He was pushed underground by rushing water for about 100 yards and landed by another person’s yard. Davey was found not breathing, and was rushed by ambulance to a hospital.
- His Condition -
Davey is in a condition in which he needs help breathing and is on many medicines to help him function. They had already removed about one liter of water out of his lungs already, and Davey is slowly being removed of some of his medications. He is not awake though, and will still need time to recover.
- What You Can Do To Help -
With all the care Davey is being given, you will need a very pretty penny to pay the bills. I don’t want to see my friend’s family having to pay off thousands of dollars in fees by themselves. That’s where we, the community come in. We can help our friend so that they can take it a little easier after such a traumatic event. If you can’t give a donation or help the family in any way, just pray that Davey will have a smooth recovery. This is a very important situation, and one I hope everyone is serious about. I want to see everyone that knows or at least have a connection with him, to donate to this GoFundMe so that the Albright family can have a break from all the stress.
