Help Ashley Fight Breast Cancer

In 2002, Ashley Marble found out she had breast cancer at the age of 30. She was a young, hard-working mom of a six-month old son and spent over a year completing all recommended treatments including chemotherapy and radiation. Despite routine mammograms and completing the standard treatment for breast cancer, she learned in March 2019 the dreaded news that her cancer has returned.
If you know Ashley you know she one of the kindest, funniest and most caring people who we know and love. She is possibly the strongest Mom, wife, daughter, sister and friend that anyone could ever possibly be blessed to have in their lives. All who have the good fortune of knowing her can say that she is the SPARKLE and GLITTER of life!
Why We Need Help
While there is little we can do to ease the physical and emotional toll of this experience, we are hoping to help Ashley with the intense financial burden that cancer has brought. Though Ashley does have health insurance, it doesn't begin to fully cover all the expenses. She will also be out of work with surgery and will have to cut her hours back during chemo.
The Treatment Plan
Ashley's doctors believe that a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation are the necessary steps to beating the cancer. All of these treatment plans are extremely aggressive, but Ashley is ready for the fight.
How Your Donations Will Help
Your donations will go straight to Ashley's medical care during her fight. We would ideally like to raise $25,000. This money will go toward covering additional health insurance costs from out-of-pocket expenses for treatments including: chemotherapy, mastectomy and reconstruction, radiation, various medications and medical scans (PET, MRI, etc.).
Cold Cap Therapy
Ashley's one request is that she keep her hair during treatments. Cold Cap Therapy is a non-invasive method used to preserve your own hair. These treatments coincide with each round of chemotherapy. With the use of Cold Cap Therapy, we can grant her this wish. Insurance does not cover these sessions.
