Help Save Our Home

Hello, my name is Brittnay and I am in some dire need of human kindness at this time. My family of three and I live in a small one bedroom home, and it is our pride and joy, however we have fallen on some hard times and are in need of some help. For the last six months or so we have been making small payments to the city when we could to pay the sewer, but we on a fixed income, and that payment wasn't always as much as I would like to make. The City began to charge more over time and made it so the payments that we could afford we're barely making it dent in what they were expecting us to have. We attempted to make a contract agreement with the city, however they didn't want to work with us and ultimately came and shut off our sewer. We did our best to work around the situation, using grey water and an outhouse. At first, the city was fine with this situation- but soon they retracted their statement and gave us the unfortunate alternatum - We either pay the full amount and reconnection fees in 40 days, or they will condemned our place and have us homeless. On the 4th, they are having our water disconnected as it is now a ' health hazard' and they are using the force the condemning. I take care of my 65 year old mother, and this is a huge stress on my family, so any sort of help, be it prayer, a small donation, or sharing this will help us in greater ways than you can image.
