Help Our Dog To Walk Again (Bowie)

Our long time family member and little best friend Bowie had a very terrible accident happen to him today. Bowie is a 4 year old Dachshund, with the biggest heart and he is the sweetest dog in the world. Late this afternoon Bowie was attacked by our neighbor’s Rottweiler. Somehow he got into the neighbor’s yard. We found him laying in their yard after the neighbor’s child told us the terrible news. When we got to him he was laying on his side motionless and very scared and seriously injured and bleeding. Bowie is a fighter though, and he has a lot of drive to stay alive. We took him quickly to the animal emergency center where they have checked him in and are currently taking care of him. The doctor’s concern is that Bowie may need spinal surgery in order to walk, run, and play, again. This is why we are reaching out to the community for help. The surgery is very expensive and we have little funds left in our account after we pay our bills and take care of our newborn daughter Lily. We know that there’s so many people out there with the heart to care about our little guy. Please don’t not feel required to donate. Every penny earned here will go straight toward Bowie’s medical bills and toward paying for his surgery and getting him healthy and happy again.
