I'm raising money for the British Heart foundation and Carden Primary School. The money for the school will be used to purchase some educational books for the library. The funds will give the young pupils an opportunity to have a wider range of engaging books to read.
The other half of the money will be given to the Heart Foundation. My father lost his life due to complications with a heart operations. He was diagnosed with vascular dementia and eventually he lost his life. I believe that by raising money for these two causes, we can go some small way to help. I know many of you give to charities so I only ask that you give what you can. Along with a small band of friends I will be taking part in 6 gruelling events over 6 months in the hope of raising £6000.
