Emergency Eviction Help

I’m a single mom of three beautiful children. In January I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had surgery to have it removed. I have been off work since the beginning of January. I was unable to pay my entire rent and now I am facing eviction. I have 5 days to pay and 10 to move out if it’s not paid.

My baby has been sick for the past month which has made things even more difficult. My son has severe ADHD and my daughter has ADHD and DMDD. 

I work so hard to provide for my children and it’s definitely a struggle. I try to stay positive for my kids but it’s hard knowing we are facing homelessness. I start back to work on Tuesday, I work from home, so if I lose my housing, I will also lose my job as well.

It’s really hard putting it out there that you need help especially when it comes to taking care of your kids. It’s not easy being a single parent and I know I’m not the only one struggling. The world is a cruel place filled with hate and they make you feel bad for needing help. That’s why a lot of people are in the positions they are in because they feel like they can’t ask for help.
