Mark needs your help

I’ve known Mark for a long time. He’s a good guy. He’s the kind of guy that brought his mother into his home until her death. A while ago, the job he had for years disappeared. His once comfortable life has become a nightmare. He’s a graphic artist, so he’s getting some odd commissions, but not nearly enough (he’s always had a steady job so it’s not like he had a lot of connections to get him freelance work). He’s burned through savings. He’s maxed out every line of credit that he already had and he isn’t getting any new ones without a permanent full time income. We all know we could be him in a minute. 

He didn’t want to ask anyone for money, but he’s really close to losing everything, so I’m doing it for him. I had to press him to get information on his bills. He gave me the numbers for the things he needs to keep paying to look for and do work (electricity/internet/phone/car expenses), forgetting his mortgage and food. That’s the kind of guy he is.

My goal is to make sure he is covered for the current month, and the next two. So that’s about $8300. The $300 is for the part that GoFundMe will take. I don’t expect we’ll raise that much, but it would be nice if he could not worry for a few weeks. It’ll cover mortgage, utilities, internet, car related costs, and food (some of that admittedly for his cat Zeddicus, pictured above).
