Meet Moxie's Adamantium Man URO1 RA CA HIC CGC TT SD, also known as Logan! Logan is a 4 1/2 year old smooth collie from Moxie Collies. His is my autism service dog and has been working for a little over a year.
Logan has several AKC and UKC titles already, but his breeder and I are pursuing an AKC Ch for him. Unfortunately, there is only one AKC show a year near me, and it is known to have low numbers of smooth collies in it - this past year there were not enough smooth collies to earn points. A dog needs to earn points to get to be a Champion, and that can only be done if there are enough dogs to compete against.
Despite a lack of competition in the breed ring, Logan was in the top 10 smooth collies in the 2013 AKC National Owner Handled Series, and was invited to attend the nationals in December.
In an effort to make Logan a champion, I am raising funds to fly to Washington in late February for a weekend of collie specialties. Specialties have a higher concentration of competitive dogs in them, and are more likely to get a dog points than all-breed shows are.
My ultimate goal is roughly $600. This would cover the flight and associated costs of travel in addition to entry fees for the weekend. I will not need a hotel, as Logan's breeder has graciously invited me to stay with her for the weekend. If I do not raise the full amount, I may be able to go anyway if I can at least raise the costs of flying. My goal is to have funds raised by February 1st, though there is some flexibility. If funds are not raised in time to enter (entries are due early February), I will simply hang on to the funds, continue raising money until I reach my goal, and pick a show later in the year to give me more time.
Any excess funds will be used for future shows and/or to buy needed supplies and equipment for Logan's job as my service dog.

SKETCHES:
$5 - An ink sketch of your dog on 3 1/2 x 5" 50lb sketch paper, digitally delivered as a photo or scan of the sketch.
$10 - An ink sketch of your dog on 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" 65lb sketch paper, digitally delivered as a photo or scan of the sketch.
$10 - An ink sketch of your dog on 3 1/2 x 5" 50lb sketch paper physically mailed to you via USPS anywhere within the United States.
$15 - An ink sketch of your dog on 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" 65lb sketch paper, physically mailed to you via USPS to anywhere in the United States.
$20 - An ink sketch of your dog on 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" 65lb sketch paper, physically mailed to you via USPS to anywhere outside of the United States
LEASHES:
Leashes are available in 3/4" or 1" tubular nylon in red, blue, and black, all with a white tracer line. Snaps are only available in the style shown. Tubular nylon is much softer and flexible than traditional nylon, and since it it tubular it lacks the sharp "edge" that most nylon leashes have. Colors and widths are limited to what is in stock when I go to the shop, and not all colors and widths are available at all times. Leashes can be shipped internationally, but please contact me before you order so I can get a shipping estimate and direct you to what level you need to select.
$10 - One flat leash or traffic lead with handle and one snap, with or without fixed or floating ring in the handle, up to 6ft long, shipped to you via USPS anywhere in the United States.
$15 - One European-style/multi-function leash with two snaps and up to 6 fixed or floating rings, up to 8ft long, shipped to you via USPS anywhere in the United States.
$15 - One flat leash with handle and one snap, with or without fixed or floating ring in the handle, over 6ft up to 15ft long, shipped to you via USPS anywhere in the United States.
$20 - One European-style/multi-function leash with two snaps and up to 8 fixed or floating rings, over 8ft up to 12ft long, shipped to you via USPS anywhere in the United States.
$30 - One long line, with or without a handle and up to 2 fixed or floating O-rings and one snap, up to 30ft long, shipped to you via USPS anywhere in the United States. Please note that depending on availability, longer lengths may require splicing. If you require no splices, please contact me before you order so I can advise you on what color and/or width to choose. If you do not mind splices, I can make these multi-colored - for example, the first 10 feet black, the second 10 feet red, and the third 10 feet blue.
OTHER PRODUCTS:
Other items are available on a limited basis by special request. Some examples of these items are pawprint paintings and note cards, single pawprints on canvas board, harnesses, specialty leads, collars, cozy coats and sheets (simple rectangle double layer flannel or cotton coats with a nylon chest strap and belly strap), dog vests and pockets, and other custom items.
