My Wife's Malnutrition issue

Donation protected

My wife's journey started in December of 2010 with the slip of the surgeon's scalpel during a ERCP (removal of a gall stone from the bile duct (which turned out not to be there).  The insurance companies won't do anything to help because her Chronic Pancreatitus is listed as a possible side affect.  She suffered 3 1/2 weeks in ICU and over 3 months in the hospital.
In January of 2013 they removed her pancreas which was covered by Medicare, but wouldn't cover the Islet cell transplant.  We had to come up with just under $35,000 to cover the Islet Cell Transplant before they would even start the surgery.
In June of 2013 she had another surgery to fix a hidial hernia caused by the scarring of the pancreas surgery.
In December of 2013 they reomoved part of her stomach, part of her small intestines due to scarring issues and also removed her spleen which started causing problems.
When this started she was 125 lbs and is now down to 79 lbs.  Her teeth were severly affected by this and we again had to pay just under $35,000 to cover her repair work.  I can show receipts if anyone needs to see them.
In December of 2014 we heard a friend of the family was going to be homeless.  We brought these wonderful people into our home.  The young lady, her fience, son and daughter moved in with us.   We quickly learned that due to issues in her life, her dental health was in worse condition than my wife's.  We loaned them the $41,000 they needed to get her out of pain so she could work to get back on her feet and start their new life together and independant.  I hold very little expectations for them to pay the money back, but they say they will pay it back.
I officially retired on my Birthday in May.  At 65, I have very little chance to go back to work (disabled) so needless to say our retirement plans have been severly impacted.  I set the goal of $100,000 even though we have drained 111,000 from our retirement funds.  Anything you can contribute will be greatly appreaciated.
