Help My Dad Get Cancer Treatment!

Hi! My dad John S. Porter has been in and out of the hospital for months due to his stage 4 colorectal cancer. He has gone through radiation twice and chemotherapy. The doctors have told us theres no other treatments that he can benefit from. Little did they know about the government sponsored clinical trials going on in various states for my Dad’s specific cancer.The money raised in this fund will go to my Dad’s transportation and housing needs in order to allow the clinical trials to be administered in Denver, CO. We live in the greater metropolitan area outside of D.C. in Maryland, and we will be needing to go back and forth at least 3 times. My dad needs two caregivers in order to preform his daily tasks due to the cancer affecting his spine limiting the use of his legs. He has no feeling or motor control, and gets around by wheelchair. The cancer pain in his back is so extreme that to get a good nights rest he must be heavily sedated. This is possibly our last hope that we have for treating my Dad’s cancer and pain.
