When we set up this account, we were in urgent need of funds to move our dad to
an assisted living facility to spend his last days with the support of Hospice. Because he passed away so quickly in the hospital on July 18th and died with very little in his estate, your donations are now being used to:
- Cover the emergency travel and lodging expenses our families incurred during the last two weeks of Dad's life.
- Pay for expenses related to his cremation, Celebration of Life service (October in Santa Barbara), and perpetual memorial trophy to be presented annually at the Charity Fair Horse Show in Del Mar, CA.
- Ongoing expenses associated with his death.
