Jamie Mardis Funeral Memorial

On Sunday July 7, by brother Jamie Mardis went for a ride on a Dirt Bike around 8:30. He lost control on the side of the country road and ended up landing in the ditch after hitting a telephone pole. The ditch was deep and was covered in foliage and he couldn’t be seen from the road especially in the dark. My brother John found him the next morning and he was Air Cared to UC medical where he was in the Neuro ICU in critically stable condition. They believed he was going to pull through but would still have complications from the brain injury but that was ok as long as he would make it. Then Saturday night around 11:30 pm his brain after being stable all week started to swell more. They called us to the hospital at 3:17 am on Sunday morning and told us that there was nothing else they can do for him. We were still praying for a miracle but he passed at 2:08 pm on Sunday July 15th. Jamie was always a very caring person and we had no control over this outcome but have decided to donate his organs to others in hopes that he is able to save someone else’s life and a little part of him will continue to live on. He is not married but does have a son (Landon 7) who has lost his daddy and best friend. Landon was Jamie’s world and I can’t even imagine what he is feeling. He did not have any life insurance and this was something that was so unexpected that we were not prepared. If anyone would like to help donate it would be greatly appreciated.
