Bring Boo Home
The good news, Boo had just moved from a 60 acre property in Ukiah so he is really good at fending for himself outdoors; the bad news, he is now in an urban area unknown to him.
Boo is still on the run. He has traveled many miles and has been sighted multiple times.
In an effort to catch him the family has purchased traps and flown in a professional tracker (with dogs). Those of us committed to helping them bring Boo home would like to help defer the cost - can you help, too?
The Gallatins have fought for Boo at each step of the way, They have done all the right things. They deserve the ultimate holiday gift of having Boo home.
Please help make this happen with a donation of any size.
Thank you all so much for all your kindness. Boo and our family cannot thank you enough for your support in all aspects of our recovery of him. It has been a life-changing experience and I feel honored to have met all of you along the way. As the New Year begins , we are turning our sights on how best to be of service to other animals and make use of some of the amazing lessons learned along the way. Again, Words fail to express our gratitude for each and everyone one of you, for every penny shared , but most of all, for all your wonderful thoughts , messages , calls, long hours posting signs. The list goes on and on and on. Happy New Year, may your path rise up to meet you!!!! xoxo
Priscilla, the tracker that was hired was Karin TarQwyn of Lost Pet Professionals. Boo was found just prior to her arriving on the West Coast. While I did not have the good fortune to meet her, she does appear to be very well qualified. I would recommend her to others. [She is based in Nebraska.]
Who was the amazing tracker? I have run search pages and know how much work goes int this type of effort. Glad you have your dog back, give the tracker a little credit, if you found your dog they earned their keep:)
Fantastic news! Merry Christmas to Boo and his family. May the rest of their days be smooth sailing. I know they are relieved.
"GOOD NEWS BOO HAS BEEN RECOVERED! While he appears to be in decent shape, he is currently being assessed by a vet. We will post more information as it becomes available. Please know that the family has exhausted themselves and their resources with this search. Let's help truly make this the warm holiday homecoming that it is."
I wanted to personally thank each and every person who has stepped up to help thus far. Your generosity and kindness of spirit is much appreciated. The Gallatin Family is speechless with gratitude. Please spread the word so that we all work together - each contributing a little bit - to make the goal.
