I'm doing this Gofund me event to raise money for my close friends, Jaren and Travis, who's beautiful baby boy, Wrigley, was born last week needing open heart surgery. They have insurance, but despite that, they'll be hit with a massive bill that they'll likely be paying off for many years to come, because heart surgery is expensive, and the insurance only covers some of it. How much is heart surgery? How much will the insurance cover? No one knows yet, but it's certain that they'll soon get a bill for some insane amount, which they won't be able to afford, and that's all there is to it.
Wrigley did come through his heart surgery with flying colors, which is wonderful news, so he is doing well and that is the most important thing. But still... if you know Jaren or Travis, you know that they would never ask for help with the financial burden that this surgey has created. But that's what friends are for, and that's why we're going to help them anyways.
Many of you know Jaren and Travis, they are your friends as they are mine, and they have stood by you through tough times the same way we're standing by them now. And this is your opportunity to show them that you care and that you want to help, as they would help you if the situtaion were reversed. Some of you may find this GoFundMe page and dont know them that well. Perhaps they are just colleagues, or on the edge of your circle of friends. Or maybe you only came here by accident and dont know them at all? Honestly, I dont know how to appeal to you in that case, except to say, please help. Everyone thinks they know good people, but these really are good people in a tough place and just this once, they need a hand. Every little or large donation will make a massive difference, and will be very much appreciated! We (and they!) can't thank you enough for contributing anything you can :)
