Help Heather Kleinman Fight Cancer

Our good friend, Heather Kleinman, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer at age 28. Heather has centered her life around helping others fight their battles with a career in physical therapy, and now it is time for us to help her fight her battle.
Heather graduated from Hunter College in 2011 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Since then she has worked at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, NJ. There, Heather has helped a countless number of patients to regain their strength after injury or illness.
Heather's outgoing and fun-loving personality makes it easy to be her friend. She is loyal and compassionate, and always puts others before herself. Recently, her father underwent brain surgery, and Heather has stepped up to the plate as a caretaker and advocate for her family.
With student loans and her family's medical bills piling up, Heather needs our help to defer the cost of her own treatments as she battles breast cancer. Due to her young age at diagnosis, Heather had to have several fertility treatments, so that having a baby could be a possibility in the future. This is an incredibly expensive process as insurance deems these procedures medically unnecessary, and therefore would not cover them. Unfortunately, even with this procedure, she still may not be able to carry a child and would need a surrogate.
Heather must undergo six chemotherapy treatments before having a double mastectomy with reconstruction. She will continue to have various medical treatments after surgery. In addition, Heather will need to be on expensive medications to ensure that she remains cancer-free.
